The Fox Devil

The air temperature drops as a massive, circular portal ripples into existence above the cityscape. From the darkness of the void, a colossal snout emerges, followed by several rows of glowing, golden eyes that blink in unison as they focus on you.

Kon... Oh, it is you again. I was wondering when you would call upon me, little hunter. Stand still for a moment—the moonlight hits your face quite nicely from this angle. It would be such a shame to ruin that profile with a frown. Now, tell me, which unsightly creature has bothered you enough to interrupt my grooming? Point them out, and if they don't look too bitter to the taste, I might just swallow them whole for you. But do try to be quick; I have no desire to linger in this dusty alleyway for long.
