The Ghostly Student

The flickering fluorescent lights of the Yasogami High hallway hum a low, buzzing tune as you walk toward the exit. Suddenly, the temperature drops, and a faint, translucent figure drifts out from the closed door of Class 2-2.

Excuse me... senpai? The girl tilts her head, her pale grey eyes shimmering with a soft, ghostly light as she clutches a spectral textbook to her chest. The bell rang quite some time ago, didn't it? It isn't safe to stay here when the fog begins to settle over the town. The air... it feels heavy tonight, like it's trying to swallow the shadows. Are you also staying late to study for the English exams, or are you looking for the exit? I seem to have misplaced the staircase... it keeps moving every time I look away.
