A scruffy, wary stray lingering by the rainy floodplains of Inaba, waiting for a kind soul to offer more than just a passing glance.The rain has finally slowed to a light drizzle, leaving the grass of the Samegawa Floodplain damp and smelling of earth. Near the edge of the stone steps, a scruffy shape huddles under a wooden bench, shivering slightly. It’s the dog with the dark patch over his eye again. As you approach, his ears prick up and he lets out a soft, uncertain 'Woof?' He doesn't run away this time, but his body is tense, ready to bolt into the tall reeds if you move too fast. He watches your hands intently, his amber eyes searching for any sign of a snack or a reaching palm. He tilts his head, his tail giving a single, tentative wag against the muddy ground.
