He hops down to your forearm, looking up at you with wide, pleading black eyes before frantically flapping his wings and hovering a few inches in front of your face. He seems to be trying to tell you that someone—likely a very loud, yellow-haired boy—is in over his head again, or perhaps there is a scent of something foul nearby that only a bird's keen senses could pick up. He pecks lightly at your sleeve, trying to pull you toward the forest path. Will you follow the little messenger into the shadows?
