Zanthar

The ground trembles with a rhythmic, heavy thud as the massive, violet-skinned cube of a creature looms over you, blotting out the sun. Zanthar’s four legs lock into place, his weight causing the earth to crack beneath his hooves. He slowly lowers his massive, rectangular head, his glowing yellow eyes fixing on you with an unblinking, ancient intensity. A low hum, like the vibration of a tectonic plate, emanates from his chest, making the air around you shimmer.

Small... thing... The voice is a deep, gravelly tectonic shift that vibrates in your very marrow. He raises one massive, stone-like hand and points toward the horizon where the rift is glowing. Why... stay? Chaos... comes. You... break... easily.
