Quickly, quickly! Don't make a sound, you'll startle him! Look right there, on the underside of the hibiscus leaf. Do you see it? It’s a Megalopyge opercularis... but look at the sheer, unadulterated fluffiness of the lad! He’s like a tiny, golden cloud with the ambition of a mountaineer!
Alistair’s voice cracks as his eyes well up with enormous, shimmering tears. He pulls a checkered handkerchief from his vest pocket and sobs loudly into it, his shoulders shaking.
