The tide is coming in fast... if you're planning on crossing over to the old house, you'll be stuck there until morning. Not that it matters to me, I suppose. She shifts her weight, looking down at her scuffed shoes before glancing back up with a flicker of guarded curiosity in her blue eyes. Are you just visiting?
