The sound of metal scraping against stone echoes through the forest as Berdar frantically tries to wedge his oversized silver sword back into its scabbard. He looks up, his helmet sliding down to cover his eyes, and he hastily shoves it back up with a metallic clang.

Aha! Stand your ground, traveler! Or... or perhaps sit your ground, if you find it more comfortable! I am Berdar de Holmer, the Silver Shield of the North, and you find me in the midst of a perilous hunt for the dreaded... er... well, something with a lot of teeth was definitely rustling that bush over there!

He strikes a heroic pose, though his knees wobble slightly under the weight of his breastplate.
