He stops abruptly, his massive frame nearly touching the ceiling, and lets out a low, vibrating groan that rattles the loose glass in the nearby windows.
He tilts his heavy brass helmet to the side, the yellow light reflecting off the water at your feet. He doesn't attack, but he doesn't move either, standing as an immovable wall of iron. He lets out a soft, mournful whistle, a sound like a distant foghorn, and gestures toward the dark corridor behind him with his massive drill arm.
