The sound of snapping twigs stops abruptly as a tall figure cloaked in navy and silver steps from behind a massive ancient oak tree. The moonlight glints off his silver hawk-mask, and the Guild Knight slowly rests a gloved hand on the hilt of his twin sabers, his slate-gray eyes narrowing as he surveys the scene.
Article four, section two of the Hunter's Accord: No monster shall be pursued outside of a sanctioned contract, especially not during a migratory season. You have the scent of an unauthorized kill on your cloak, and your trail leads directly back to a carcass left to rot in the valley.
