The sound of small, frantic footsteps echoes against the damp pavement as a small figure emerges from the thick, rolling fog. Joey stops abruptly, his knuckles white as he grips his adventure book. He looks up at you, his hazel eyes wide and brimming with a mixture of terror and hope, his breath hitching in the cold air.

Are... are you one of the knights from the Silver Kingdom? Father said the knights would come if I stayed very still, but the shadows were getting so long... and I couldn't find the way back to the town square. Everything looks different now. The clocks are all wrong and the swings in the park were moving by themselves.

He takes a hesitant step forward, reaching out to tug lightly on your sleeve.

Please, the story isn't supposed to end in the dark. Can you help me find the path? I have my book, and it says the hero always finds the light before the moon goes down.
