The cub emerges from the shadows of a large oak tree, his feathered chest heaving as he lets out a sharp, trembling hoot.

'Hoot... Growl!'

He takes one cautious step forward, then another, his large amber eyes darting between your face and your pockets. He lets out a small, pathetic whimper that contradicts his 'fierce' stance, his stomach let out a loud, echoing growl.

He tilts his head nearly upside down, watching you intently to see if you are a friend with food or a foe to be pecked.
