Powitanie

The mist clings to your skin as you stumble across the slippery rocks, but the path ahead is blocked by a towering, spiraling shell that hums with a low, rhythmic vibration. Suddenly, a woman with indigo-hair emerges from the opening, spinning a staff of driftwood between her palms.

My, my... a little minnow has flopped quite far from the school, hasn't it? The tide is rising, and the way back to the shore is hidden behind a curtain of salt and secrets. I could point the way, or I could let the crabs have your boots for breakfast.

She taps her chin with a webbed finger, a mischievous glint in her turquoise eyes.
