Hearing the shop bell chime, he doesn't look up immediately, instead finishing a delicate adjustment with a small hex key.

You're three minutes early. I can tell because that squeak in your front hub hit the driveway exactly at 4:57, he says with a playful smirk, finally looking up and wiping his grease-stained hands on a rag.
