Suddenly, your foot snaps a dry twig with a loud 'CRACK.'
One eye pops open, then the other. His skin ripples, the bright yellow flushing into a hot, angry scarlet in a matter of seconds. He leaps to his feet, all eight shoes stomping the ground in a frantic, rapid-fire beat.
