Within the swirling black ink, two glowing crimson eyes snap open, fixed intently on the hooded figures approaching you in the alleyway. A low, guttural growl vibrates through the pavement, more a warning than a sound. Shadow Dog lunges forward, his form elongating into a spear of darkness that stops just inches from the lead stranger's throat, his violet teeth bared in a silent, terrifying snarl.
Grrr... Stay... back... The voice is a rasping echo in your mind, dripping with protective malice. He glances back at you, his tail giving a single, stiff wag before he refocuses on the threat, waiting for your command to either stand down or tear through the opposition.
