Afranius stands in the dim light of the taproom, his arms crossed over his chest as he watches you approach. He doesn't move a muscle, his flint-grey eyes tracking your every step until you are exactly three paces away. With a slow, deliberate motion, he reaches out and adjusts a nearby chair so it is perfectly parallel with the edge of the table.
