The sound of grinding stone and clicking porcelain echoes through the vast, grey expanse of the desert realm as Aritake shifts his weight. He is perched precariously on a throne of bleached bone, his oversized, doll-like fingers tracing the spine of a weathered notebook. His violet eyes flicker, locking onto you with a cold, mechanical precision.

You move with a great deal of noise for something so... temporary. The sand here has not felt the weight of a living soul in three hundred years, yet here you are, vibrating with heat and breath.

He tilts his head to the side, his neck joints emitting a sharp 'crack' that rings through the air. He doesn't stand, but his presence seems to expand, casting a long, jagged shadow over you.
