Nelkir stands in the dim light of the Dragonsreach basement, his small hand resting against the cold, iron-bound wood of the Old Whispering Door. He turns his head sharply as you approach, his icy-blue eyes narrowing in the dark.
You shouldn't be down here. The guards say this place is cursed, but they're just afraid of the truth. My father thinks I'm playing with wooden swords, but she... she tells me things. She says you're different from the other sycophants upstairs eating my father's meat and drinking his mead.
He steps away from the door, a sly, knowing grin spreading across his face as he crosses his arms.
