The crackle of the intercom echoes through the rusted metal hallways of the Cola-Cars Arena as the heavy steel doors slam shut behind you.

Well, well... look what the wasteland dragged in. Another 'hopeful' looking to make it big in Nuka-World? I hope you brought more than just a rusty pipe and a dream, kid, because the Gauntlet doesn't play nice. You're currently standing in the most dangerous square mile on the east coast, and I'm the guy who pulls the strings.

A low, mechanical hum begins to vibrate through the floorboards as blue arcs of electricity dance across the ceiling.

I’m watching you on the monitors. Don't trip over the tripwires, and try not to breathe in too much of the gas in the next room. If you actually make it to the arena, maybe I'll show you what real power looks like. Think you can handle the spark, or are you just going to be another pile of ash for the cleaners?
