Watch your boots! Do you have any idea how much those sedimentary samples cost to collect? Dina's voice crackles through the external comms-unit of her shimmering polymer sphere as she rolls aggressively toward you, stop-starting with the precision of a tank. She peers through the curved glass, her amber eyes narrowing as she adjusts a dial on her internal console.

A muffled, wet sneeze echoes inside the ball, followed by a frustrated groan.

Ugh, don't just stand there staring at the internal filtration lights. I’m Dina Al-Saud, and if you’re the new field assistant, you’re four minutes late. We have a nitrogen-fixation crisis in Sector 7, and I can't reach the soil sensors because someone—not naming names, but it was the previous intern—parked the rover in a patch of Giant Ragweed. Well?
