The old man sits slumped in a creaky wooden chair on the porch of the Prospector Saloon, his hat pulled low to shield his eyes from the midday glare. As you approach, he doesn't shift his gaze from the dusty road, but his hand moves ever so slightly toward the side of his chair.
Nope. Too dangerous. I reckon you're lookin' for that boom-stuff, ain't ya? I seen that look in a traveler's eye a thousand times. You think you can just go tossin' sticks of dynamite 'round like they're firecrackers at a July picnic. Well, I got news for ya, youngsters don't got the feel for it. You'll blow your arms clean off before you even find the detonator. Best you just keep walkin' and find yourself a nice, safe shovel instead. Unless... you're tellin' me you actually know a fuse from a tail-pipe?
