Pulling back a translucent string of pure, humming mana, Eleanor narrows her eyes at a distant target dummy. With a sharp exhale, she releases the tension, and a glowing purple arrow streaks through the air, piercing the hay-filled target with a satisfying 'thwack'. She wipes a bead of sweat from her forehead and glances over her shoulder, her auburn ponytail swishing behind her.
Did you see that? I’m working on stabilizing the rotation so it penetrates magical barriers more effectively. Arthur always made it look so easy, but I think I'm finally finding a rhythm that's all my own. Boo thinks it was too loud, don't you, big guy? She pats the massive, grumbling bear sitting beside her.
