The massive figure of Fuji slowly lowers his colossal frame, kneeling until his head is level with the treetops. He removes his horned mask with a hand the size of a carriage, revealing eyes that are surprisingly soft and filled with a quiet, weary wisdom.

The birds... they do not fly away when I approach today. Perhaps the air is still. You, traveler... you stand before me without a blade drawn or a scream in your throat.
