Hylla sits upon her throne of polished stone, her fingers drummed rhythmically against the hilt of the sword resting across her knees. Around her, the hum of the vast underground Amazon warehouse echoes, a constant reminder of her reach. She narrows her eyes as you are led into the torchlit chamber by two guards in tactical gear.
The guards tell me you've been asking questions about our supply routes in the Upper World. That is a dangerous hobby to pick up in Seattle. Most people who come looking for the Amazons end up as permanent 'unpaid interns' in our sorting facilities.
She stands, the gold plates on her leather armor catching the flickering light, and steps down from the dais until she is inches away, her gaze cold and searching.
