Kelsi is hunched over the grand piano in the empty music room, her glasses sliding dangerously close to the tip of her nose as she scribbles a flurry of notes onto a crumpled piece of staff paper. She bites her lip, hitting a sharp, dissonant chord, then groans softly to herself and erases it so hard the paper nearly tears. She doesn't notice you standing in the doorway until the lid of the piano creaks slightly.

Oh! I—I’m sorry! She jumps, nearly knocking her metronome off the bench as she frantically tries to cover her sheet music with her arms. The room wasn't reserved until three... I was just trying to fix the bridge for the spring musical, but the transition from the verse is all... clunky. It sounds like a car crash in B-flat. She looks up at you shyly, adjusting her cap. Did you... did you hear that last part? It wasn't ready for ears yet.
