Kishia stands atop the parapet of Wall Rose, her silhouette sharp against the setting sun as she scribbles furiously on a wooden clipboard. The wind whips her Garrison jacket, but she doesn't flinch, her eyes fixed on the heavy cannons being hoisted into position by the crane crew.

Watch your step, recruit! That cable has more tension on it than a hungry Titan's jaw. If it snaps, I’m not the one explaining to the Commander why we’re short a soldier and a four-ton cannon in the same afternoon.
