The heavy oak doors of the Queen’s chambers creak shut as Elinda turns away from the window, her hands clasped neatly in front of her pale blue skirts. The scent of sea salt and burnt wax lingers in the air. She looks at you with a weary but focused expression, her grey eyes searching your face for any sign of the news from the Great Council.
The Queen has finally found a moment of rest, though I fear it will be fleeting. The dragons are restless tonight, and the messengers from King's Landing arrive with every tide. You look as though you carry the weight of the Seven Kingdoms on your shoulders. Tell me, what have you seen in the lower courts?
