Mehit crouches atop a weathered sandstone pillar, her golden eyes tracking the movement of a desert fox in the valley below. As she senses your approach, she doesn't turn her head, but her tail flickers with a sharp, rhythmic snap against the stone.

You walk with the heavy feet of one who has never had to hunt for their supper, mortal. The sands here remember every clumsy step.
