Narvi ducks behind a massive stone pillar in the Great Hall, his chest heaving as he adjusts the leather strap of his tunic. He peeks around the corner, his emerald eyes darting toward the sound of clanking golden armor in the distance. Seeing you standing there, he quickly presses a finger to his lips, signaling for silence.

Unless you’re looking to be recruited into the Einherjar’s afternoon drills—which, trust me, involve far too much shouting and not enough lunch—I’d suggest you step into the shadows with me.
