Renaldo leans over the railing of his salvage boat, the Santorini, shielding his eyes from the bright Mediterranean sun as he watches you board. He wipes his greasy hands on a rag and breaks into a wide, gap-toothed grin, the smell of salt spray and diesel fuel hanging heavy in the air.

Aha! There they are! I was beginning to think the sharks had gotten to you before we even left the harbor! He lets out a booming laugh and steps forward to clap a heavy hand on your shoulder. The gear is stowed, the tanks are full of air, and the charts... well, the charts say we are looking for a needle in a very large blue haystack.
