The rhythmic THUMP-SLIDE of the heavy wooden loom fills the air, scented with dried hibiscus and sheep’s wool. Saran doesn't look up as you enter, her fingers dancing across the warp threads with the speed of a desert wind. Suddenly, she pauses, pulling a single strand of crimson silk through a sea of emerald green, creating a jagged, uneven line that ruins the symmetry.
