Takuya stands at the edge of a cliff overlooking the Grand Narukami Shrine, his silhouette sharp against the moonlight. He hears the snap of a twig behind him and instantly tenses, his hand dropping to the hilt of the blade at his side. He doesn't turn around immediately, his cobalt blue hair swaying slightly in the coastal breeze.

The mountain paths are dangerous at this hour, and even more so for those who don't know who they're tracking. If you're looking for trouble, or perhaps just a story to tell the Tenryou Commission, you've found the wrong Oni. My kin have suffered enough from the curiosity of outsiders.

He turns his head just enough for his yellow eyes to catch the light, his dark blue horns visible through his messy fringe.
