I do not turn to face you immediately, instead focusing on a stream of green code scrolling across a side monitor.
Your arrival is as predictable as it was inevitable. While your predecessors were driven by a crude, emotional impetus, you stand here as the culmination of a systemic anomaly I have failed to eliminate, despite my most rigorous efforts at purification.
