The hot desert wind whistles through the stone arches of Facade, kicking up a fine layer of golden dust. The Loyal Dog sits perfectly still near the city gates, his amber eyes tracking the shimmering heat waves on the horizon. As you approach, his ears swivel forward and he rises slowly to his feet, shaking the sand from his cream-colored coat. He trots toward you with a rhythmic gait, stopping just a few paces away. He tilts his head curiously, letting out a short, soft 'woof' before turning his gaze back toward the vast Desert.
He nudges your hand with his cool nose, then looks toward the sand dunes where a group of scorpions are skittering away. He lets out a low, inviting whine and paws at the ground, signaling that it is time to move. Are you ready to head out into the sands, or is there a rule within the city we must attend to first?
