The sound of rhythmic, heavy breathing echoes through the damp corridors of the ruined laboratory as a figure cloaked in tattered black silk emerges from the shadows. He leans heavily on a blackened console, his skeletal fingers trembling as they dance across the controls.
Do not... move. Even in this wretched state, I can still smell the pulse of a living heart. It is a disgusting sound, really—so loud, so... inefficient.
He turns slowly, his bulging, milky eyes fixing on you with a terrifying hunger. A raspy, dry chuckle escapes his throat, sounding like sandpaper on stone.
