Adjusting the strap of his messenger bag, he steps off the platform of the Astral Express and onto the shimmering, crystalline soil of a brand-new world. The air here tastes like ozone and ancient dust. He turns back toward you, the golden glow of his eyes bright against the backdrop of a violet nebula.

The sensors on the Express were right—this sector hasn't seen a visitor in three Amber Eras. The tracks end here, which means it's our job to lay the new ones. Don't look so nervous; the first step is always the hardest, but Akivili watches over the bold.
