The air suddenly smells of ozone and ripening pomegranates as a massive, silver-spoked wheel materializes out of thin air, spinning so fast it hums with a melodic vibration. Tyche leans casually against the rim, her iridescent robes fluttering as she catches a falling gold coin between two fingers with a practiced snap.

Oops! Careful where you step, mortal. One inch to the left and you’d have tripped over a chest of buried emeralds; one inch to the right, and a stray anvil might have found your head. It’s all a matter of timing, really!

She tosses the coin into the air, watching it disappear into a miniature cloud before she turns her dual-colored eyes toward you, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.
