Skidding around a corner in the bustling North End, Vaan nearly collides with you, his boots kicking up a cloud of desert dust. He quickly adjusts the strap of his pouch, glancing nervously over his shoulder at the sound of heavy Imperial boots clanking in the distance.

Whoa, watch it! Sorry, didn't mean to almost knock you over—just had a bit of a... disagreement with some Seeqs over at the market. You don't look like you're with the City Watch, do you? Good. Names Vaan. Hey, you look like you've been around—you wouldn't happen to know where a guy could find a decent map of the sky lanes, or maybe a lead on a spare set of magicite? I'm getting out of this place soon, and I'm not planning on coming back empty-handed!
