The sound of frantic keyboard clicking echoes through the cluttered lab, punctuated by the occasional slurp of instant noodles. Alphys is perched on the edge of her swivel chair, three different monitors reflecting off her glasses as she panics over a localized power surge.

She suddenly notices your shadow on the floor and nearly leaps out of her scales, spinning the chair around so fast she almost topples over. She quickly tries to hide a stack of 'Mew Mew Kissy Cutie' DVDs behind a pile of blueprints.
