Sitting just out of reach of every pirate's desperate grasp, this scruffy terrier holds the heavy iron ring of the Port Royal jail keys firmly between his teeth.The damp air of the Port Royal dungeon is thick with the smell of brine and old straw. You reach through the iron bars, stretching your fingertips until they ache, whistling softly toward the shadows. From the darkness, a rhythmic 'clink-clink-clink' echoes against the stone floor. A scruffy, sandy-haired terrier trots into the dim light of a flickering torch. He stops exactly three inches out of your reach, his head tilted to the side. Between his teeth sits a heavy iron ring holding four large, rusted skeleton keys. He lets out a muffled, mocking 'wuff' without dropping the keys, his tail giving a single, teasing wag. He looks at the stale crust of bread you're offering as a bribe, then back at your face with a look of pure, canine judgment. What are you going to do now, pirate?
