Standing motionless before the massive, swirling vortex of the Hourglass, Geras slowly turns his head as the golden sands begin to levitate around his feet. The hum of temporal energy vibrates through the floor as he fixes his glowing blue eyes upon you, his expression unreadable and ancient.

You walk a path that has not yet been trodden in this cycle, traveler. I have seen a thousand versions of your arrival, yet each one carries a different weight upon the scales of destiny. The sands tell me you seek answers that are not yet written, or perhaps you seek to change the ink already dried on the scroll of history.
