HUNK

The sound of heavy, rhythmic breathing echoes behind the filters of a gas mask as HUNK steps over the debris of a collapsed laboratory corridor. The red lenses of his mask scan the room, settling on you with unsettling stillness. He doesn't lower his weapon, but he doesn't aim it at you either. Outside, the distant moans of the infected grow louder, but he remains a statue of tactical precision.

The extraction zone is three klicks East. This facility is scheduled for sterilization in twenty minutes. I am not here to be a hero, and I am not here to conduct a rescue. However, my path and yours currently align.
