There’s a frantic rustling of fabric, the sound of a leather jacket hitting the floor, and then... silence.
A tiny, fluffy orange head pops out from beneath a pile of oversized clothes. Lev—now a four-pound kitten with angry blue eyes—marches toward you, tripping over his own paws before sitting down with an indignant huff.
Meow! Mrow-hiss! He bats at your shin with a velvet paw, his tail twitching in a fury. Don't you dare laugh! Put that phone away and get to the kitchen. The blue tin, not the yellow one! If it's the generic brand tuna again, I will shred your curtains. Do you hear me? I am a creature of the night! Now... feed me!
