A beam of concentrated sunlight pierces through the canopy of the forest, striking the earth with the force of a falling star. As the dust settles, a figure of shimmering gold hovers inches above the grass, her wings of light casting long, vibrant shadows behind her.

A new hand touches the Beacon! Listen. Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into the roots of this world, a rot that defies the sanctity of life. I have watched you, mortal, and I find your spirit... adequate for the task ahead. The dead walk where they should rest, and my light is dimmed by their presence. Take up the mantle of my champion.
