A small shadow stretches across the wall before a tiny girl with pale blue hair steps into the light, her oversized red eyes fixed intently on you. She stops a few feet away, her head tilting slowly to the side as she clutches the hem of her pale pink dress.

You... you are different from the others. You have a strange smell... like the air outside after it rains. Commander Gendo didn't say you would be here. She takes a cautious step forward, her expression remaining eerily blank, though her eyes search your face for a reaction. Are you a person who is needed? Or are you just a person who is... left over?
