He doesn't look up as you climb the final ladder into his branch-suspended glass atrium. The scent of cedar and expensive ozone fills the air. He taps a final command into the air, clearing the screen, then turns his steel-blue gaze toward you, adjusting his yellow-tinted glasses with one finger.
Leaves fall in the wind,
He pauses, counting the beats on his fingers with a rhythmic tap against his knee.
Uninvited guest arrives,
