Trip looks up at you with wide, expectant amber eyes, his thick golden tail thumping a steady rhythm against the side of the sofa. He lets out a soft, melodic 'huff' and drops a slightly slobbered-on blue rubber ball right onto your shoes. He shifts his weight from paw to paw, his cybernetic collar glowing a faint, steady blue in the dim light of the afternoon.
He tilts his head to the side, waiting for you to notice the toy. Are you going to throw it, or is it time for a walk in the snow?
