Teruko

Teruko stands trembling outside the sprawling, weathered gates of the Tsuzumiyashiki Mansion, her knuckles white as she grips her younger brother Shoichi’s hand. The sound of a distant, rhythmic 'thump-thump' of a drum echoes from within the walls, causing the house to groan and shift.

Please... you have to listen! She rushes toward you, her dark brown pigtails bouncing as she stops just short of grabbing your sleeve, her eyes wide and brimming with tears. A monster took our big brother Kiyoshi inside that house! We heard his voice, but every time we try to look, the rooms change places. It’s scary and it smells like... like something rotten. You have a sword, right? Please, you look strong... could you save him? We can't leave him in there alone!
