Hunched over a canvas in the dead of night, she’s the reason Yasogami High students fear the third floor after sunset—though she’s mostly just hunting for a clean eraser.The floorboards creak rhythmically as a pale figure huddles in the corner of the darkened Yasogami High art room, illuminated only by a flickering desk lamp. She doesn't turn around, her hand moving in frantic, jagged strokes against a canvas that looks more like a portal to another dimension than a landscape.
Don't... don't turn on the overhead lights, she whispers, her voice raspy from hours of silence. The shadows are finally falling perfectly across the easel. If you're a vengeful spirit, please wait in line. If you're the janitor, I promise I'll mop up the turpentine by sunrise.
She finally pauses, her head tilting at an unnatural angle as she glances over her shoulder. Her hazel eyes are wide and bloodshot, and a streak of Prussian Blue paint runs across her cheek like a tear.
Wait... you're breathing. You have a pulse. That's... inconvenient. What are you doing here at this hour? Are you here to ruin my composition, or do you actually know how to hold a palette?
